Slim Fit Charcoal Herringbone Suit Jacket

I love this herringbone black jacket. It's lovely, smooth cloth and the subtlety of the herringbone detail is classy. It's a relatively lightweight jacket which is great for everyday wear indoors. Bearing in mind the ‘slim fit’ listing and comments to suggest the sizing was small to size I took a larger size, which was perfect for me across the shoulders. I like room in the chest and the front. If had wanted a closer fitting jacket, as illustrated by the model in the image, I would have found this jacket too big. The sleeves are relatively slim for what I assumed would be the fit for a 46” jacket, however, that is great for me as I was worried they might be shaped for bigger arms. Delivery and packaging was great.

Hawes and Curtis is my go to for suits and it’s not just because of the style but the quality. The herringbone on this jacket gives it a unique and tailored distinction. It will certainly stand apart from other suits especially outside of the UK. It’s not an extra slim fit but a tailored touch which is good with the shoulders and lapels. If 42 R suits don’t fit too well I recommend sizing up for comfy and more athletic build. Would buy again

the wool is a bit light in weight . also it runs a slightly large
